Our adult dogs are carefully screened for common genetic disorders. It is our practice to allow our dogs PLENTY of exercise and socialization daily. We feed Nutri-Source Premium dog and puppy foods.

F1, F1b, f2....what does it all mean?
Additional Information
Miniature Bernedoodles are a hybrid breed, the offspring of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Miniature Poodle. The average adult weight is 40-45 pounds. This first generation hybrid is designated F1.
An F1b Mini Bernedoodle is the result of an F1 (first generation) Mini Bernedoodle being "back crossed" to a Mini Poodle. The result is a puppy with more poodle traits, * ideally, a more curly coat and a smaller body frame. (Approx 30 pounds)
The offspring of two F1 Mini Bernedoodles is designated F2.
Bernese Mtn Dog + Mini Poodle = F1 Mini Bernedoodle
F1 Mini Bernedoodle + Mini Poodle = F1b Mini Bernedoodle
F1 Mini Bernedoodle + F1 Mini Bernedoodle = F2 Mini Bernedoodle
Generations beyond F2 are considered multi-generation, or multi-gen.

* While certain traits are likely, genetic variables make it impossible to guarantee a particular body size or hair/coat type. Occasionally a puppy may exhibit more Bernese Mountain Dog traits, resulting in a larger dog and/or non-curly coat.
